They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Catholic/Mt. St. Mary Academy Rockets. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Kimber Wynn paced Westside's offense, picking up ten kills. Wynn got some help from Mattyx Cureton and her 28 assists. Emma Byrd controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Westside's victory bumped their record up to 14-1-2.
Westside has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Lake Hamilton on the 27th. Catholic/Mt. St. Mary Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
