Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Curtis Baptist). They enjoyed a cozy 86-71 win over the South Aiken Baptist Christian CRUSADERS on Monday. The Crusaders pushed the score to 72-43 by the end of the third, a deficit the CRUSADERS cut but never quite recovered from.

Curtis Baptist's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Treivan Wright, who went 12 of 17 en route to 29 points along with six assists and five rebounds. That's the most points Wright has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brayden Husband, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 boards.

When it comes to explaining why South Aiken Baptist Christian lost, don't look at Sam Terlizzi. Despite the final result, he went 12 for 25 on his way to 28 points. With that strong performance, Terlizzi is now averaging an impressive 15.7 points per game.

Curtis Baptist now has a winning record of 10-9. As for South Aiken Baptist Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
