The Pershing County Mustangs posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They blew past Silver Stage 60-17 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Pershing County who now have three in a row.
Leading Pershing County to victory were Travis Donaldson and Aaron Kienbaum. Donaldson scored 16 points, while Kienbaum scored 22 points.
Pershing County's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-10. As for Silver Stage, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Pershing County will be playing in front of their home fans against Coral Academy of Science - Reno at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Coral Academy of Science - Reno is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Silver Stage, they will head out on the road to take on Yerington at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Yerington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Tuesday.
