Larry Cascone Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, St. Pius X got the W thanks in part to Larry Cascone playing the best football he has all season. Cascone rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
The victory was the sixth in a row for St. Pius X, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Cascone and St. Pius X will take on Lafayette on Friday.

Aiden Knechtenhofer's Big Game Leads Savannah over Chillicothe
Aiden Knechtenhofer put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 66 yards and a touchdown on only five passes.
Unfortunately for Chillicothe, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Knechtenhofer. When Knechtenhofer last faced the Hornets back in October of 2023, he rushed for 126 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 127 yards and three touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes.

A Season-Best Performance from Tommy Hutsler Leads St. Pius X over Benton
Tommy Hutsler produced his most outstanding game to date while leading St. Pius X to the win on Friday. Hutsler picked up 102 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
For the season, Hutsler has caught 11 touchdowns while averaging 77.3 receiving yards per game.

Chillicothe had to settle for second on Friday, but Jaishon White sure wasn't going down easily. White was dynamite, picking up 53 receiving yards and a touchdown.

The second Savannah player making an appearance here is Rylanton Cook, and for good reason. He rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns. He is becoming a predictor of Savannah's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
For the season, Cook has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 34.8 rushing yards per game.
