The Northwood Gators made easy work of the Westminster Christian Academy Crusaders on Thursday and carried off a 12-5 victory. Considering the Gators have won 14 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Northwood is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Northwood will host Negreet at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they will head out to take on Elizabeth at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
