Citrus Valley (Redlands, Calif.) 33-10 while riding the arm of
Chase Chambers, who tossed four touchdown passes.

Kyler Vasquez in the second quarter.
Murrieta Mesa expanded its lead to 26 points entering the fourth quarter. MM scored two times in the third, including once on a Chambers touchdown pass to
Daniel Castro.
The Murrieta school put up 19 points in the second quarter en route to the win. The Rams scored on a Vasquez touchdown run, a touchdown pass by Chambers to
Khalil Sharpe and a Chambers touchdown pass to
Gilbert Toves in the quarter.
The Blackhawks'
Dalton Douglas was the standout player for his team. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to two on the year.
Citrus Valley's lone touchdown came on a 1-yard run by Douglas in the second quarter.
When the two teams played each other last season, Murrieta Mesa came away with a 37-14 victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Citrus Valley, which notched a 35-7 victory over Yucca Valley in its previous outing. With the win MM extended its winning streak to four games.
In a non-conference game next week Murrieta Mesa (4-0) takes on Lakeside, and Citrus Valley (1-3) will go up against Perris also in a non-conference game.
