Marvin Moore Crosses Big Stat Threshold
 On Friday, Callaway got the W thanks in part to  Marvin Moore playing the best football he has all season. Moore rushed for 266 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry. Thanks to that strong showing,  he's  now averaging 2.1  rushing touchdowns per game. Those 266  rushing yards gave  him a new career-high.
 Columbus had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw  Moore it was a similar story. Moore rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 47 receiving yards the last time he and the Falcons duked it out  back in October of 2023.

A Season-Best  Effort from  Decorey Knight, Jr Leads Vicksburg over Neshoba Central
 On Friday, Vicksburg had to settle for second even though  DeCorey Knight, Jr put up the best numbers he has all season. Knight, Jr's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 107  rushing yards.
 Vicksburg is  on  a  seven-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. Knight, Jr and Vicksburg will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Callaway at 7:00  p.m.  on October 24th.

Javon Bruce Makes It Two for Callaway
 Another Callaway player making an appearance on this list is  Javon Bruce. He picked up 33 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 For the season,  Bruce  has averaged 9.3 total tackles per game.

Big Game from Adams As Ridgeland Fell 27-6
  Elijah Adams continued his hot streak  on Thursday by dropping his third-straight game (dating back to last season) with  at least seven  total tackles. He picked up  two  sacks and made eight total tackles (5.0 for loss).
 Ridgeland is  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-3. Adams and Ridgeland will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Columbus at 7:00  p.m.  on October 25th.

Larry Reynolds Rounds Out Top Five
 Rounding off our Top Five is  Larry Reynolds of Warren Central. Reynolds forced two fumbles and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss). He is  on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made eight or more in the last four games he's  played dating back to last season.
 The  win  got Warren Central back to even at 3-3. Reynolds and Warren Central will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Neshoba Central at 7:00  p.m.  on October 25th.
