Bonduel waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Amherst Falcons get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by nine runs or more this season.

Kallie Wilcox looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Marlie Hartmann, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Taylor Rank, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Bonduel's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Amherst, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Bonduel will venture away from home to square off against Norway at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Amherst, they will challenge Manawa at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
