Kerens came into Thursday's matchup having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Hubbard Jaguars by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on August 12th.

While Kerens won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-23.
