Baseball Recap: Master's Academy Extends Winning Streak to Two

Master's Academy won the last time they faced Glades Day and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Patriots never let the Gators get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

Chase Bell was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2025. Rocky Cantu also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Master's Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Glades Day, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Master's Academy will challenge Brito at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Glades Day, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Glades Central at 4:00 p.m. on the 25th.
