Even though the John Hardin Bulldogs scored an imposing 55 points on Wednesday, the Campbellsville Eagles still came out on top. Campbellsville enjoyed a cozy 74-55 victory over John Hardin. The win made it back-to-back wins for Campbellsville.
Landon Colvin was his usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. Deondre Weathers was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
Campbellsville's win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6. As for John Hardin, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Campbellsville won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Meade County at 6:00 p.m. on December 21st. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kentucky (Meade County is ranked 221st, while Campbellsville is ranked 219th).
