The Franklin County Flyers will be playing at home against the Conner Cougars at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Conner took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Franklin County, who comes in off a win.

 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Carlie Olds, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Aaliyah Tillman, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-1.
 Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Conner's offense. They fell just short of Notre Dame Academy by a score of  1-0 on Thursday. Conner has not had much luck with Notre Dame Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
  Mollie Sharp spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings every time she's  pitched this season.
 Franklin County now  has a winning record of 7-6. As for Conner, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 6-7.
 Everything went Franklin County's way against Conner in their previous meeting  back in April of 2017 as Franklin County made off with  a  13-2 victory. Does  Franklin County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Conner turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
