On Saturday, Crestwood didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Grand Valley, but they still walked away with a 44-39 win. Given Crestwood's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 227th, while Grand Valley is ranked 682nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Charlie Schweickert, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dekota Johnson, who scored ten points along with three blocks.
Meanwhile, East Canton scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Fairless as East Canton made off with a 75-49 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory East Canton has posted yet this season.
Crestwood's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for East Canton, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.
