After losing to the Wardlaw Academy Patriots the last time they met, the Richard Winn Academy Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Richard Winn Academy walked away with a 48-39 win over Wardlaw Academy on Monday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Richard Winn Academy.
Leading Richard Winn Academy to victory were Abby Lewis and Meagan Brigman. Lewis scored 19 points along with three steals, while Brigman almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lewis has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Delaney Young, who scored four points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Richard Winn Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Wardlaw Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
