On Thursday, the East Greenwich Avengers never let their opponents score. They put the hurt on Cranston East with a sharp 20-0 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for East Greenwich.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Greenwich to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cade Thomas, who gained 79 total yards and a touchdown.
East Greenwich's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Cranston East, they bumped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
