Brookhaven was led to victory by Madison Benson and Aliyah Watkins. Benson scored 11 points along with 7 steals, while Watkins scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds. Benson hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Kema Roberts, who scored 8 points along with 10 rebounds.
Brookhaven's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Franklin County, they have fallen quite a ways from their 21-7 record last season and are now at 2-5.
Brookhaven will be playing at home against Pearl at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pearl is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Franklin County, they will head out on the road to face off against North Pike at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Pike will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
