Rodriguez is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least two every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Lommori, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-4.
Smith Valley's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Coleville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Coleville has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .442. However, it's not like Smith Valley struggles in that department as they've averaged .562. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
