The Belle Plaine Dragons will be playing at home against the Udall Eagles on Monday. Belle Plaine is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
On Friday, Belle Plaine came up short against the Indians and fell 52-43.
Udall can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They snuck past Sedan with a 49-43 victory.
Udall found their leader in underclassman Lilly Hoffman, who scored 27 points along with five steals and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Hoffman posted two or more blocks. Kayl Knapp was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Belle Plaine has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Udall, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.
Belle Plaine strolled past the Eagles when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 54-40. Does Belle Plaine have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
