The matchup between Pen Argyl and Pocono Mountain East  on Tuesday hardly resembled the  2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Green Knights blew past the Cardinals 16-5. Considering the Green Knights have won nine matches by more than seven  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Abby Scherer was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with five  RBI, three  runs,  and one  triple. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madacyn Rivera, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases and three  runs.
Pen Argyl's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 16-5. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Pocono Mountain East, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pen Argyl will head out to  face off against Palisades  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Pocono Mountain East, they will take on Southern Lehigh at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
