Despite the loss, Prairie View Academy still got an impressive performance from Tollan Wallace, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 19 rebounds. Wallace continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Abram Anthony, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
The victory got Porter's Chapel Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Prairie View Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Porter's Chapel Academy will face off against Hillcrest Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games. As for Prairie View Academy, Prairie View Academy and River Oaks will face off at 4:00 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. River Oaks is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
