While Fort Wayne Bishop Luers's victory against Bluffton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Tigers 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on three straight.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-18, 19-25, 25-12, 15-10.

Taylor Albers paced Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' offense, picking up 14 kills. Albers got some help from Kayla DeFluiter and her 39 assists. Kayla Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why Bluffton lost on Thursday, don't look at Konley Ault. Despite the final result, she had 27 digs, 17 kills, and one block. With that strong performance, Ault is now averaging an impressive 11.2 digs per game. Jaida Mills was another key player, getting 27 digs.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Bluffton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
