Gem State Adventist Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Grimaldo, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Grimaldo has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarod Avalos, who scored 11 points.
Gem State Adventist Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Greenleaf Friends Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-9.
