The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Elysian Fields in their matchups with Jefferson: they've now lost five in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Elysian Fields lost, one person who can't be blamed is McKenzie LeBlanc. Despite the final result, she scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. LeBlanc scored a full 56.8% of Elysian Fields' points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Blair Giles , who scored five points.
Elysian Fields has been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-20 record this season. As for Jefferson, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-6.
