Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 71-4, which was the final score in Branchville's tilt against Bamberg-Ehrhardt on Monday. Branchville has struggled against Bamberg-Ehrhardt recently, as their matchup on Monday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Bethune-Bowman's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Branchville, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Bethune-Bowman against Branchville when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 60-12 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bethune-Bowman since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
