The Miller Rebels had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took down San Bernardino 28-14. This was payback for Miller, who suffered a 14-13 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Leading Miller to victory were Jesus Rasura and Ilya Ridge. Rasura rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, while Ridge rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
Miller now has a winning record of 5-4. As for San Bernardino, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 5-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miller will take on Indian Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Bernardino, they will head out on the road to face off against Pacific at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pacific is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
