AAAAA Region 2 recap September 24, 2013
Lakeside scaled the state rankings by moving to 81 from 108 this week, the biggest jump in AAAAA Region 2. The Panthers were able to move up by beating Westside 39-9.
Northside was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after a bye. The Eagles came in at 22 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
Evans's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Matlin Marshall threw for 93 yards and Joacinto Grimes had 36 yards receiving.
