Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tocoi Creek). Their defense stepped up to hand the ED White Commanders a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Toros as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Tocoi Creek's victory bumped their record up to 4-9-1. As for ED White, they now have a losing record at 6-7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tocoi Creek will face off against Flagler Palm Coast at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Flagler Palm Coast's favor as the squad sits on nine straight wins at home while Tocoi Creek has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. As for ED White, they will head out to square off against Paxon School For Advanced Studies at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
