Legion Collegiate Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They took a blow against the Cannon Cougars, falling 109-79. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Legion Collegiate Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenyn Walker, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 21 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Walker a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Worley, who went 7 of 8 on his way to 19 points and five rebounds.

Leading Cannon to victory were Sean Nix and Evan Ingram. Nix went 13 of 22 on his way to 37 points in addition to six boards and four steals, while Ingram almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine steals. Ingram is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kenan Dixon, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 17 points and three steals.

Legion Collegiate Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Cannon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Legion Collegiate Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-48 loss against Carolina Forest on the 2nd. As for Cannon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 100-87 win against Lake Norman Christian on the 3rd.
