The Eastern Alamance Eagles will face off against the Harnett Central Trojans on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Eastern Alamance comes in on four and Harnett Central on 11.
Eastern Alamance is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Currituck County  a   4-0 shutout.

The result came thanks to  Delani Straughan's shutout, as she gave up just two  hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Eastern Alamance's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Mckenzie Blevins, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run and one  RBI.
Meanwhile, Harnett Central earned  a  9-4 victory over C.B. Aycock  on Tuesday.
 Bree Tenters spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and three unearned) runs on eight hits.
 On the hitting side,  Lauren Faulkner was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, three  runs,  and three  RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most  home runs  she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ella Prado, who  went 3-for-4 with one  triple and two  RBI.
 Harnett Central  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters  in 11 consecutive  games.
 Harnett Central's win was  their 11th straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 18-4. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.9 runs over those games. As for Eastern Alamance, their win bumped their record up to 18-7.
 Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging  on Friday. Eastern Alamance hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season,  having  averaged 0.8  home runs per game. However, it's not like Harnett Central struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 0.9  home runs.
