It was a good run, but the West Lafayette Red Devils unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They suffered a rough 84-61 defeat at the hands of Harrison. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (60), West Lafayette still had to take the loss.
Jeffrey Williams was a one-man wrecking crew for Harrison as he scored 33 points along with 8 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ray Gibson, who scored 12 points along with 6 assists.
West Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Harrison, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
West Lafayette's road trip will continue as they head out to face Crawfordsville at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Harrison, they will be playing at home against Lafayette Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lafayette Jefferson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while Harrison is ranked seventh).
