Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Broadmoor). Everything went their way against the North Iberville Bears on Wednesday as the Broadmoor Buccaneers made off with an 80-56 victory. While the Buccaneers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Broadmoor has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for North Iberville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Broadmoor will take on Collegiate in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Iberville, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Family Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
