Rich has been on the road for five straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Cokeville Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Rich focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Rich came up short against Kemmerer and fell 39-30. That's two games in a row now that Rich has lost by exactly nine points.
Defeat or not, Rich got some senior leadership from Violett Taylor who scored 9 points along with 3 steals and Hannah Scott who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Cokeville waltzed into Saturday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Wind River with points to spare, taking the game 72-54.
Rich now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Cokeville, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
