The Real Life Christian Academy Raptors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 47-17 loss at the hands of Redeemer Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Real Life Christian Academy has suffered yet this season.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Zuri Griffiths and
Leylanie Rosier, who each put up six points.
Redeemer Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cami Satterfield out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Satterfield has scored all season. Selena Martin was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Real Life Christian Academy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.8 points per game. As for Redeemer Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Real Life Christian Academy will take on Winter Haven Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Redeemer Christian, they will be playing at home against Cambridge Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
