Benbrook saw some tournament action  on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Martin Warriors as the Benbrook Bobcats made off with  an  8-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won four matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
Benbrook got a great performance from  Hudson Stockton as he  didn't allow a single  earned run over six innings pitched.
 On the hitting side, Benbrook's victory was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Sebastian Martinez, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another  was  Giulianno Martinez, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  RBI.
Benbrook is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record  this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.0 runs over those games. Martin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-5-1.
 Coming up, Benbrook will face off against Trinity Valley at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Martin has  already played their next  game (against Birdville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
