Sabino's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Spencer Larson, who scored 21 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Larson has scored all season. Chris Herndon was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Sabino has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-14 record this season. As for San Miguel, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
Sabino will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Miguel, they will head out on the road to challenge the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Vipers have been banged up by 12 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
