Lamar got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Fennix Roberts out in front who posted 16 points plus three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Azariah Rozier, who scored 14 points in addition to eight rebounds.
Trinity Leadership has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Lamar, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Leadership will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on R.W.
