REDDING, Calif. -
Biggs (Calif.) extended its winning streak to eight games with a 49-0 victory over University Prep (Redding, Calif.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Blaine Roles touchdown run in the first quarter, the Wolverines were up 21-0 at the half.
Biggs grew its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. BHS scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Nathan Callaway.
The Wolverines went into the matchup giving up only 10.6 points per game. The zero points that the Panthers ended with were well below their average of 22.0 coming into the game.
The defeat comes as a step back for University Prep, which notched a 48-33 victory over Los Molinos in its previous outing.
University Prep (2-6) goes up against Chester in a Mountain Valley game matchup next week, while Biggs (8-0) locks horns with Maxwell also in a Mountain Valley game.
