The Pepperell Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. The matchup between them and Chattooga wasn't particularly close, with Pepperell falling 58-40. If Pepperell was looking for revenge after losing 61-56 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Despite the loss, Pepperell still got an impressive performance from Chris Fife, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carmelo Brown, who scored seven points.
Pepperell has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Chattooga, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-18.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pepperell will take on the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Darlington will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. As for Chattooga, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m.
