Make it six blowout wins for the Wells Leopards this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Carlin 45-7 on the road. 45 seems to be a good number for Wells as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
The victory (which was Wells' third in a row) raised their record to 9-7. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.67 points. As for Carlin, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Wells will be playing at home against Owyhee at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Owyhee is ranked 52nd, while Wells is ranked 67th). As for Carlin, they will head out on the road to challenge Jackpot at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Jackpot comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 13 points in their last seven games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
