The Tampa Bay Tech Titans posted their closest win yet this season on Friday. They skirted past Middleton 48-45. Winning may never get old, but Tampa Bay Tech sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Tampa Bay Tech's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Azjannie Culberth, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Culberth continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Breanna Hartley, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
The win got Tampa Bay Tech back to even at 7-7. As for Middleton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
Tampa Bay Tech's road trip will continue as they head out to face Plant at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th. As for Middleton, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Spoto at 6:30 p.m.
