Hannah Justus made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Leah Melero was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Emily Lucero was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Organ Mountain kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Ysleta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-8 heartbreaker at the hands of Burges.
Cienna Hernandez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Emma Dominguez, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Organ Mountain has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .517. However, it's not like Ysleta struggles in that department as they've averaged .455. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
