The Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels will square off against the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
St. Benedict at Auburndale will be up against a hot Tipton-Rosemark Academy squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Rebels' way against Houston on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-8 win.

Addie Thorpe and Anniston Glass did most of the damage at the plate: Thorpe scored three runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances, while Glass scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave Glass a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zadie Reburn, who scored two runs while going 2-for-5.
Tipton-Rosemark Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .514. They are 11-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, St. Benedict at Auburndale entered their tilt with Houston on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Mustangs.
Zoie Bernard was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 4-for-5. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Meredith McCusker, who went 3-for-5 with one triple, one stolen base, and one double.
Tipton-Rosemark Academy pushed their record up to 17-14-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4.
Wednesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Tipton-Rosemark Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .361. However, it's not like St. Benedict at Auburndale struggles in that department as they've averaged .353. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Tipton-Rosemark Academy suffered a grim 8-2 defeat to St. Benedict at Auburndale in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Rebels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
