Harlem is a perfect 10-0 against Boylan Catholic since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Huskies will take on the Titans at 5:00 p.m. Harlem will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
On Wednesday, Harlem needed a bit of extra time to put away Belvidere. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Bucs.

Rylie Adams spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on one hit and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Megan Christensen was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Harlem hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Boylan Catholic hadn't done well against Freeport recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Titans came out on top against the Pretzels by a score of 13-8. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Titans considering their two-run performance the match before.
Boylan Catholic also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Ari Ousley gave up five earned (and three unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up eight Ks.
On the hitting side, Janae Burke was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Maddy Kiley was another key player, going 2-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI.
Harlem pushed their record up to 18-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Boylan Catholic, their record now sits at 8-9.
Harlem took their win against Boylan Catholic when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
