Hickman waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Smith-Cotton Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 33-14. That's more bragging rights for the Kewpies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Although Smith-Cotton took the loss, they still got scores from Dax Wiskur and Koleman Fredrickson.

Hickman's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Smith-Cotton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coming up, Hickman will head out on the road to challenge Jefferson City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Kewpies are facing the Jays at the right time seeing as the Jays are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Smith-Cotton, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Battle at 7:00 p.m. The Spartans will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
