Meeteetse is 7-2 against Riverside since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. Last Saturday, Meeteetse was beaten by Non Varsity Opponent 62-32. Meeteetse was down 46-23 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Meeteetse's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Max Potas, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals, and Jason Moody who scored four points along with 16 rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Riverside's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 65-44 loss at the hands of Big Horn. Riverside has not had much luck with Big Horn recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meeteetse's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.
Meeteetse didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Riverside in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 56-52 win. Does Meeteetse have another victory up their sleeve, or will Riverside turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
