Despite the defeat, Westhope/Newburg saw an underclassman step up: Marleigh Henry scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Henry continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played.
Even though they lost, Westhope/Newburg were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
The victory got Glenburn back to even at 4-4. As for Westhope/Newburg, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
