Carman-Ainsworth's Malik Seales rumbled for the longest rushing play in Saginaw Valley - South this season in his game against Flushing last week. Seales scampered for 80 yards on the play and finished with 148 on the day as his team beat the Raiders.
Fans got a thrill when Daniel Walker and Trayvon Nickerson connected against Powers Catholic. The connection was good for 56 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
jonathan phife was the best wideout in the league this week as Flint Southwestern Academy fell to the Chargers. Phife tallied 3 receptions for 85 yards. Nickerson helped Flint Southwestern Academy's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 85 yards.
Flint Southwestern Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Walker has thrown for 619 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Nickerson has 15 catches for 213 yards.
