Round Valley barely beat Winslow the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Elks blew past the Bulldogs 22-4 on Monday. The Elks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by seven runs or more this season.

In other batting news, Round Valley got a massive performance out of Ruth Wiltbank, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four hits gave Wiltbank a new career-high. Skyler Hevener was another key player, scoring four runs while going 3-for-3.
Round Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .697. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Winslow only posted an OBP of .312.
The win was the third in a row for Round Valley, bringing their record up to 12-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Winslow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Round Valley will head out to face off against Many Farms at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Winslow, they will venture away from home to challenge Holbrook at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
