Golden Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dominick ?Tre? Thompson, who rushed for 226 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. ?Tre? Thompson's longest rush was for an incredible 90 yards. Nate Abbott was another key contributor, rushing for 161 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries.
West's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Elias Gurrola, who threw for 100 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes, and Kahli Vaughn who gained 118 total yards and two touchdowns.
