Leading Maine East to victory were Arabella Silva and Mariah Scott. Silva scored 16 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds, while Scott scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Silva has scored at least 25% of Maine East's points. Maria Gonzalez was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 7 rebounds.
Maine East has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 4-1 record. As for Niles North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
